What is in the kit bag?

We carry a multitude and variety of equipment and over the years have tried almost all the propriety makes of carrying systems to move all the bits and pieces about. We currently use two Magnum bags along with a massive Lowepro rucksack with some Kata wheels. It has room for almost all the lenses and bits and pieces but not the lights etc. Our camera bodies travel in a protective case similar to a Peli.

Here is an ideal list of equipment that Commercial Photographers could use. Everything earns its place.

1. Hasselblad H3D-50, (available for some commercial work) and two Canon 5d mk2’s, for video and digital imaging.

2. EF 24 – 70mm f/2.8, L a superb lens that is a real workhorse for most close-up and mid-range photography.

3. EF 70-200mm f/2.8, L this is a beauty which gives us the ability to standoff and capture magic moments at weddings for example or when taking portraits and fashion shots.

4. EF 17–40mm f/4.0, L, a can do landscape lens, for the super wide-angle but still believable views.

5. EF 24–105mm f4.0, L an all-round reliable lens and a good back up for the 24 – 70mm.

6. EF 50mm f/1.4, a fantastic lens with great bokeh.

7. EF 85mm f/1.2, L the portrait dream maker, brilliant lens easy to create perfect images.

8. EF 100mm f/2.8, a macro lens for the close-up work.

9. EF 400mm f/5.6, L a great long view lens used for motor racing and animals.
